In any sense in line of work there will always be an audience. Typically we base our presentations off our audiences. In project runway these designers know who their audiences are. The first round of audience are the judges that potentially could vary from well known artist to big name designers. These incoming designers know that this audience of professionals work with this all the time so they have to stand out in a way to get through.
Reflection would be another key word throughout the two episodes because reflecting on something you do improves you and the work you do. With this I know these designer reflect every small detail they put into their fashion and clothes. Working in such a diverse and competetive field, there’s nothing better to do than reflect on your actions and what the judges say to help them out.
In the show, both reflection and audience play big roles throughout. Each time they present something to the judges, the reflect on what they have to say and fix whatever they feel could be better. The judges which play as the audience.
